Lay Visitors Director
Ruth Oviatt was commissioned at both worship services on September 12, 2010 to be our church’s first Lay Visitors Director. A volunteer position, Ruth will be responsible for recruiting, training and assigning visitors from our church who will visit people from our church family who are in the hospital, nursing home or shut-in. (Pastor Dan will continue to visit as well.) Ruth will also be organizing lay persons to bring communion to our nursing home and shut-in church members, as well as bringing soup to those who are just home from the hospital.
