Asbury United Methodist Church of Millcreek invited children of the community to go back to Hometown Nazareth - where Jesus was a kid!
This summer's Vacation Bible School took place Monday, June 20th, through Friday, June 24th, from 5:30 - 8:30 PM. We had a special program for family and friends during the worship service on Sunday, June 26th, at 10:00 AM.
Children of all ages and even adults were invited to journey through Nazareth from over 2000 years ago and get a taste of life in Jesus' time. They'll hear Mary's stories from Jesus' childhood and have a chance to stand up for their faith among townspeople who doubt that the carpenter's son is really God's Son. They'll visit the town marketplace, dig for treasure, build toys, and taste snacks in the food market.
There was no charge to take this journey at 4703 West Ridge Road in Millcreek.
